~California

Life is odd sometimes. I just got back in Homer after a three week vacation in California with loved ones. I was able to spend a week in San Diego with my girlfriend and then 2 weeks with my parents and family.

It is really incredible when you are able to meet with people you have not seen in years whether they are brothers or friends. Even acquaintances really.

Seeing how things have changed and how yours and others life has progressed in ways once thought unimaginable. Staying with family and actually feeling like family for one of the first times in my life. Being and acting like a real person in front of those you love for the first time. Seeing and surprising people that care about you after years of being away. Watching God show up and change the lives of people in ways that were once only prayers. All of this and more is what put this trip in the record books of my brain for the rest of my life.

I love and cherish my family so much. This goes well beyond just blood and well into spiritual parents, siblings and close friends.

You know who you are.
